Biography
Marcus Tan has substantial experience in criminal, civil and immigration matters. Mr. Tan graduated with a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in May 2006. Mr. Tan worked at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office where he learned to defend criminal cases on behalf of indigent clients. With trial experience in the misdemeanor, juvenile and felony divisions, Mr. Tan is well-experienced in litigating matters in the State criminal court system.
After starting his own law firm, Mr. Tan began litigating civil cases and developing an immigration practice to serve his clients’ needs. Through the word of mouth of satisfied clients, Mr. Tan successfully grew his law practice for over twelve years. In addition to representing international clients on civil matters in the State of Florida, Mr. Tan also currently represents clients throughout the United States in immigration matters.
